God’s work did not end with Moses. When seasons change, God’s purpose continues. Joshua was called to step into leadership with courage, trusting that the same God who was with Moses would be with him. New seasons require new obedience. Whatever season we are in, God’s purpose continues in our life.

“After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.”

Joshua 1:1-2

Prayer

Lord, help me recognize the season You have placed me in and give me grace to walk forward in faith and possess Your promises.

Ephesians 3:2, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
