Day 16

Israel made a mistake by relying on their own understanding. God desires continual dependence, not occasional consultation. God knows the end from the beginning. Hence we seek His wisdom.

Joshua 9:14, “Then the men of Israel took some of their provisions; but they did not ask counsel of the Lord.”

Prayer

Teach me to seek Your wisdom in every decision.

James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
