God often calls us to prepare before we see the promise fulfilled. Faith plans ahead because it trusts God’s direction. Preparation is an act of obedience. Just as you have planned physically for this fast, let us also ensure we have planned spiritually…what we desire God to do in us during this fast.
“Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, “Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.’” Joshua 1:10-11
Prayer
Help me prepare my heart and life for what You are about to do during this time of consecration.
Proverbs 4:23, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”
