Day 5

The Israelites committed to follow Joshua just as they followed Moses. Unity strengthens God’s people and advances His purpose. God works powerfully when His people stand together.

“But you shall pass before your brethren armed, all your mighty men of valour, and help them, until the Lord has given your brethren rest, as He gave you, and they also have taken possession of the land which the Lord your God is giving them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession and enjoy it, which Moses the Lord’s servant gave you on this side of the Jordan toward the sunrise.” So they answered Joshua, saying, “All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.” Joshua 1:14-16

Prayer

Lord, help me walk in unity and faithfully serve Your work among Your people.

1 Corinthians 1:10, “Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”
